I have a treadmill similar to this and find it really valuable on those days when it's too cold or too wet for me to want to run outside.  Having a variety of programs really helps, too, because I can run intervals one day, hill runs another day and tempo runs another day, all by presetting the treadmill.  I don't remember now how much I paid for it, but I'm sure it was more than this.  You don't get discount treadmills very often!

I also find the heart rate grips are really helpful.  I can't fool myself that I'm getting my heart rate up when I'm really not pushing very hard ;-)  It keeps me honest.
